Bella Voce is an auditioned chamber choir of 28-30 voices, under the direction of Dr. Vicki Schaeffer. Our mission is to inspire and educate the modern audience through diverse choral experiences. While each of our members brings a rich musical background to the ensemble, the majority of our singers have professions outside the field of music, including education, technology, health sciences, counseling, and the law. We are teachers and students, entrepreneurs and retirees. We are a community that loves choral music and wants to make it accessible to a growing audience. The beautiful Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel on the Oklahoma City University campus is our rehearsal home every Tuesday night, and we perform three concerts per year in a variety of venues.
